RxVantage is committed to protecting your privacy. We will not sell or share your personally identifying information unless we are authorized to do so. Obviously, the nature of the service we provide requires that we share your information with certain individuals; for medical providers, this means we will share your information with pharmaceutical reps in your area; for pharmaceutical reps, this means we will share your information with medical providers. However, we never provide any financial information (such as credit card numbers) to any party other than our credit card processors.

By accessing the RxVantage website you consent to information collection and use as described in this policy (and as we may modify it from time to time). If we do decide to modify the policy, we will post a new policy on RxVantage.com. Your continued use of the site signifies your continued consent to information collection and use. Your sole remedy, should you disagree with this policy, or any future modification thereof, is to discontinue use of the RxVantage service.

If you do not input any personally identifying information (via signup or any other method) we will only collect information regarding your Internet Protocol (IP) address, the date and time you visited the site, the pages you accessed, and the address of the page you visited previous to our site. This information is collected for statistical and information purposes only, and does not provide any personally identifying information to us. This information does help us solve system issues, and can be useful for resolving security issues or malicious attacks. We also employ a variety of software and hardware defenses to guard against malicious attacks - including the attempts to “hack” into the site.

Though we have designed and implemented security measures both into the software/site itself as well as the hardware hosting the site, we cannot guarantee that any internet or email transmission is completely secure or flawless. Nor can we guarantee the security or privacy of any information you submit. By using the site, you agree that you understand and acknowledge the risks of submitting personal or financial information through the site.

When and if you do volunteer information, as stated above, we do share this information with other users as a core function of the site. The operation of the site would be impossible, and the experience meaningless, if we did not share this information with medical industry professionals in your area. By using the site, you consent to this sharing of information, which includes but is not limited to: name, address, phone number, practice information (including specialties and names of providers), fax number, email address, office hours, rules for rep visitation, food allergy or preferences, medications represented, employer name and coverage area).

We use cookies to make portions of the site work better by storing user preferences and trends. We send these small files to your computer. Most browsers are set up to accept cookies, but you can reset your browser to refuse them. If you do this, some features of RxVantage may not work correctly.

When you communicate with us, via email or phone, or any other method, we may retain copies of those communications (or notes made during them) in order to process your inquiries, solve your problems, respond to your requests and improve our services.

We may present links to other web sites. We cannot be held responsible for any information contained on third party sites. These sites may have privacy policies that differ substantially from ours, and we encourage you to familiarize yourself with these policies.

We may share aggregated, non-personal information with third parties, such as our number of users, type of users, and frequency of use. Such information does not identify you personally.
